FAQ
Fiber Optic Installation questions
When do I need fiber instead of copper?
Any run over 100 meters, between buildings, or where you want 10G and up. Fiber also ignores electrical interference in industrial spaces.
Single-mode or multimode?
Single-mode for distance and future speed; multimode for short in-building runs with cheaper optics. We'll recommend based on the survey.
Do you test the fiber?
Yes. Every strand is tested and you get the results.
Can you pull fiber through existing conduit?
Usually, if it isn't crushed or packed. We check it during the survey.
