What the job looks like here
Laguna Beach is galleries, restaurants, hotels and small shops on tight lots and hillsides, so equipment has to fit older buildings and stay out of sight.
For wi-fi & wireless networks that means we plan around galleries, small hotels, restaurants and hillside properties and quote from a real walk-through, not a guess.
What the install covers
Wi-Fi & Wireless Networks
- Wireless survey and heat map before anything is mounted
- Enterprise access points (UniFi, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus) cabled and mounted
- Guest networks, VLANs and secure staff Wi-Fi
- Point-to-point wireless links between buildings and yards
- Dead-zone fixes in warehouses, patios and back offices
The free survey
What we check first
- Walk the floor with a meter to find dead zones and interference
- Count users, devices and what they do on the network
- Check where power and cable can reach for access points
FAQ
Wi-Fi & Wireless Networks in Laguna Beach
Why is my Wi-Fi slow even with a new router?
Usually one consumer router is trying to cover a space built for several access points, or the uplink cabling is the bottleneck. A survey shows exactly where the gaps are.
Can you cover a warehouse or a yard?
Yes. Outdoor-rated access points and directional antennas cover yards, loading docks and parking lots.
Do you install the brand we already use?
Yes. We install and configure UniFi, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus and most commercial gear.
Do you do wi-fi & wireless networks anywhere in Laguna Beach?
Yes: Downtown Laguna, North Laguna, the Canyon and South Laguna, plus nearby cities.
Is the survey free?
Yes. We walk the space and send a fixed written quote.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and we've been doing this work in Southern California since 2010.
